Minh Cong PHAM – Director

Born in Northern Vietnam farm land, Minh Cong Pham dreamt of a different kind of future for himself. With a great deal of effort, he put himself through university and commenced a successful career.

After many years of working in a multinational corporation and developing a taste for travel, he decided to pursue his true passion and start his own travel agency. Tonkin Voyage was created in order to share the culture, cuisine and beauty of Vietnam with the experience and perspective of a true local.

Fast forward to present day, with fourteen years of hard work, creative thinking and unsurpassed customer service, Minh Cong Pham has decided to expand and open Tonkin-Travel to the English-speaking market.

Vy NGUYEN (Ms) – Sales Manager

Graduating Tourism Management at VNU, Vy has worked as a travel consultant for more than eight years before joining Tonkin-Travel.com.

As one would expect, she has a love for travel and a passion for learning new things and is thrilled to have landed her dream job with the Tonkin-Travel Team. Nothing makes Vy happier though than when she dissects exactly what a client wants and needs from a holiday.

She is attentive to detail and her knowledge of Vietnam and South East Asia is so proficient that she will proudly challenge any Lonely Planet or Rick Steves guide.

After years of working in the front line of tourism, Tu has gained a wealth of valuable experience by personally operating many successful tours. 

Due to these savvy connections, she has a vast network and is a very talented coordinator of all the important elements of travel such as accommodation, restaurant recommendations, day tours and transport.

Any issue on a tour with Tonkin-Travel will be dealt with promptly and personally by Tu. Thus, her exceptional skillset means you enjoy a hassle-free journey.

Having recently moved to Hanoi from Sydney for the food and to be our Marketing Manager (in that order), she graduated from university in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business complementing her Advanced Diploma in Hotel & Resort Management.
