Laos weather in October
While September is impressive in terms of high rainfall, October receives far less rain with plenty of sunshine replacing overcast skies.
In October, temperatures continue to drop, with averages of 25°C in Luang Prabang and Vientiane, and 26°C in Pakse and the southern provinces. You can expect cooler weather in Phongsali and the mountainous, especially at night, and suitable warm clothing is recommended.
