Kings Island Golf Resort – The oldest golf course in Vietnam
Kings Island Golf Resort (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi) with 36 holes is the first in the North and one of the oldest golf courses in Vietnam. Kings Island Golf Resort is considered one of the finest in Southeast Asia with professional design, poetic landscapes of interlaced mountains and lakes. Do Son Seaside Golf Resort was voted the “Most Prospective Golf Course in Vietnam” by readers of Vietnam Golf Magazine. The particularity of this golf course is the way to start it with 4 tees that include high challenge for professional golfers, but also adapts to amateur players.
The type of grass planted on the course of Do Son is the Paspalum which is well adapted to local soil characteristics and ensures that the “fairways” and “Green” are still green all year around. Golf Long Thanh (Dong Nai) – The best courses in Vietnam
The magazine of Vietnam Golf and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has awarded this title for Long Thanh Golf. Long Thanh Golf has an area of over 350 hectares in Tan Phuoc commune in Long Thanh district of Dong Nai province, 36km from Saigon. The standard course that has 18 holes to 72 par has attracted many travelers from other countries: Germany, UK, USA, Taiwan, Korea, Japan etc. The attractiveness of Long Thanh Golf lies in its climate change thanks to its location on high hills. It is covered by Dong Nai River by 2/3. The landscapes here is very beautiful with green lawns, golf paths that wind through palm trees, artificial lakes, waterfalls and mountains. Long Thanh Golf is considered the most the most beautiful modern course in Vietnam.

Vinpearl Golf Club – The first golf course on the island in Vietnam
Located a few kilometers from Vinpearl Luxury covering the area of 182 hectares, Vinpearl Golf Club is the first golf course on an island in Vietnam. Put into operation since May 2011, Vinpearl Golf Course was created by an architect from IMG (USA) which creates its projects as a single masterpiece.
All 18 holes are of international standard with an open space that allows golfers to find the distance to turquoise sea no matter where you are during the course. All holes are designed with different starting positions in height creating an excellent view of the challenges for golfers.
The 13th hole (par 3), a 172m long with the furthest tee, is considered the “signature hole” of course with a beach in beautiful setting.
Chi Linh Star Course (Hai Duong) – The hardest route
This golf course is located in the center of the triangle of economic development in the northern tourist town – Sao Do, Chi Linh district, Hai Duong province, 48km from Hanoi, on the road to Halong Bay. Chi Linh Star Golf is 325 hectares, was built on the foundation of 36 holes depending on the international – AAA standard. This course was built with the slogan: “The best place to play golf”.
The highlight is the home of Chi Linh Star Golf with its unique design; doors and walls are set of glass construction.
Thu Duc Golf Course (Saigon) – The best course for the professionals in Vietnam
The golf course is located in Thu Duc – Saigon and is divided into two areas: The West and the East. Each zone has an 18-golf course. Thu Duc Golf Course covers the total area of 300 hectares where amateur golf tournaments are organized in Vietnam. This course not only attracts entrepreneurs, but also the important dignitaries from foreign countries. Thu Duc course is surrounded by rivers making it a grandiose setting. The Deputy Director of Thu Duc Course said his company plans to build a heliport on Thu Duc courses to accommodate leaders of the region. Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia has already come to play on the course. Mr. Nguyen Cao Ky also visited the golf course with Mr. Vo Viet Thanh – former president of Ho Chi Minh City.
Song Be Golf (Binh Duong) – World class golf course
Song Be Golf is one of the first international golf courses recognized by the Association of American golfers and Singapore. The course has an area of 104 hectares with 14 lakes and fairways lined with beautiful green trees.
Initially, the course had 18 holes, but the current number is 27 holes. The 9 new holes were built on an model of desert by the inherent design of installations in the desert as stone, cacti, dry and dead trees. In the opinion of entrepreneurs who came here, this golf course provides sensations close to nature with lakes, trees, turf carpet that is highly developed, which resembles a form of undulating mountains.
Van Tri Golf Course – The most private golf course
Located 20km from Hanoi city center and 4km from the highway NoiBai-Hanoi, Van Tri Golf course lies in a strict security zone. After two years of operation, Van Tri Golf Course became the first golf course in Vietnam receiving an environmental management certificate according to international standard. Finally, this is the first private 18-hole course in Vietnam to serve only members (400).
With the distinction of being “private”, golfers feel them in a completely different world with the best equipment and high-end. Van Tri Golf Course is the only course in Vietnam that has a changing room served for men. The course is a harmonious balance while mixing color, texture, size and other factors such as ice, water, sand and grass to bring diversity to each step of the way.
