Similar to July, you can expect heavy rains throughout the county in August. The temperatures remain warm with an average of 29°C (85°F). The beaches are closed and the roads that were difficult to travel on in July are now impossible, especially in the delta region.

August in Myanmar is not the best for visiting. The rain and humidity are not only uncomfortable but make travel within the county possible. The beaches remain closed due to heavy rains and rough seas. The only good point is that the rains will start to decrease towards the end of the month.
