September marks a large decrease in rainfall from August throughout the county. The average temperature also drops to 27°C (80°F) but the humidity is still high. The beaches remain closed and many roads still remain closed, despite the decrease in rainfall. As the month goes on, the rainfall and temperature continue to decrease.

With the dryer weather September is more enjoyable, or bearable, than August. The crowds are still minimal and the rain is less of an issue. However, if you can push your trip back a few weeks to October, you will not be disappointed.
