November sees low humidity, moderate temperatures and continued decreases in rainfall.
There is very little rain in Bangkok and the central regions and the temperature averages in the 20s (low to high 70s Fahrenheit). Chiang Mai and other areas in the North enjoy little to no rain, warm days and lush jungles for trekking. The nights here can be chilly so, especially if you are trekking, be sure to pack a sweater. The Northeast, notably along the Mekong River, sees lots of sunshine and little rain.
If you’re looking to visit the beach the islands of Koh Chang and Koh Kood, on the east coast, and Phuket on the west coast are great options. These beaches experience warm temperatures and little rain. Koh Samui and the surrounding beaches however, are getting lots of rain this month.
November in Thailand is easy to enjoy. As the rain and humidity decreases the number of tourists will increase as the month goes on, especially in the beach towns of Phuket, Koh Chang and Koh Samui.
