Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival (-/-/-)

Phnom Penh - Airport: 12km, ~35min drive

Upon arrival in Phnom Penh airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel by our guide and driver. After making sure of your successful hotel check-in, they will be pleased to leave you free time at leisure to recover after the long flight.

Day 2: Phom Penh - Sen Monorom (B/L/-)

Phnom Penh - Sen Monorom: 370km, ~5h drive drive

Morning after breakfast at hotel, we will departure from Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham. Drive to Chhup, the largest rubber plantation in the country, which was founded during the French colonial period by the tire manufacturer Michelin. Drive to Snuol where you can have lunch in a local restaurant. Drive to Sen Monorom, the provincial capital of the province Mondulkiri with landscapes and a climate quite unlike anywhere else in the country. Arrive in Sen Monorom in the late afternoon. Check-in at the guest house. Sen Monorom is our starting point for exploring the surrounding area, the mountain communities, villages, landscapes and waterfalls.

Day 3: Sen Monorom (B/L/-)

Early morning after breakfast at a local restaurant, we visit the local market, where are many of the Phnong people from nearby villages with their distinctive baskets on their backs to the trade. We have a full day tour of the nearby tribes in the villages of the hills and the beautiful waterfalls just a few km from the sleepy capital. There are hundreds of minority groups in the villages around Sen Monorom. One of the largest and most accessible is the Phlung who inhabit a part of the village of Phnong. Their distinctive cottages have wooden walls and thatched roofs, which almost reach the floor enough. Three or more families often live in one hut. They could count themselves lucky if they see during the day more than a handful of people, because they are all in the fields working. For lunch you will be provided with a Box lunch late. Make an elephant trekking at Phnong with experienced mahouts to explore the jungle.

Day 4: Sen Monorom (Modulkiri) (B/L/-)

After breakfast at a local restaurant, we drive to Bou Sra about 40 km northeast of Sen Monorom. This dual waterfall is one of the largest and most impressive in Cambodia. Discover the village with the same name Phnong. On the way back they will see a variety of mountain communities, villages and stunning scenery. Lunch is provided with lunch box.

Day 5: Mondulkiri - Kratie - Mekong Dolphin (B/L/-)

Sen Monorom - Kratie: 202km, ~3h30min drive

After breakfast at a local restaurant, we leave this isolated forested province behind and go over Snuol to Kratie. Arrive in Kratie to lunch. Lunch is at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we can explore the small provincial town of Kratie, with good examples of sumptuous colonial architecture. This small town on the Mekong River is an unexpected pleasure, with a relaxing atmosphere. North of Kratie, visit the Wat Phnom Sambok to see the Buddhist monasteries and to enjoy the magnificent views over the surrounding countryside from the hilltop to be able to. Further north along the river we keep climbing and we will take a boat for a little trip to see the rare freshwater dolphins of Irrawady. The best time to see them in the late afternoon until sunset. Then drive back to Kratie for overnight.

Day 6: Kratie - Kampong Thom – Sambor Prei Kuk (B/-/-)

Kratie - Kampong Thom: 125km, ~2h drive

After breakfast at hotel, we transfer along the Mekong River to Kampong Thom and we will cross the Mekong River at Kroch Chmar and Stung Trong Districts of Kampong Cham Province. Then keep driver through the countryside and Plantation Farm until we reach to Kampong Thom check in at hotel and lunch on your own account. After lunch visit to Sambor Prei Kuk, located 35 km northeast of Kompong Thom. Visit the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period. Return to Kampong Thom for overnight.

Day 7: Kampong Thom - Siem Riep (B/-/-)

Kampong Thom - Siem Riep: 197km, ~3h30min drive

After breakfast at hotel, we continue to Siem Reap. En route, visit traditional villages and stop at the ancient Naga Bridge (Spean Pratpo), located 40 km from Siem Reap. Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to the hotel for check in at free until late afternoon, transfer to visit the floating Village at Tonle Sap Lake and view the sunset on the foot of Phnom Krom Mountain.

Day 8: Siem Riep - Ta Prohm – Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom (B/L/-)

Early morning after breakfast at hotel, we visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins.  The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art. At 09am come back to hotel for breakfast and rest in the noon to avoid of the heats of the day until 15:00 continue exploring the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. City & Bayon Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Further, visit to the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lepper King Terrace and Royal Place area and visit one more ruin in Angkor Area of Preah Khan temple, built in 12th century by King Jayavarman VII and it is the same style to Ta Prom Temple.

Day 9: Siem Riep - Banteay Srei – Preah Khan – Tonle Sap (B/L/-)

Breakfast is served at hotel. 6:30a.m: We enjoy a drive to the rural outskirt 35km from Angkor area to visit the smallest, but magnificent, Banteay Srei built in the 10th Century and dedicated to Shiva. The temple was the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture and the bas-relief work is the best example of Khmer classical art remaining. The pink sandstone structure bears a series of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man. On the way back we visit Preah Khan, which is similar to Ta Prom, but the architecture is bigger and less tourist. 11:00am enjoy the local lunch with one of the local family near Siem Reap Town. Late afternoon, 16:00 visit to Floating Village and take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We will see the Sunset on the food of Phnom Krom.

Day 10: Siem Riep - Battambang (B/-/-)

Siem Riep - Battambang: 170km, ~3h drive

After breakfast at hotel, we transfer by private vehicle, escorted by guide to Battambang, the second largest city in Cambodia, Battambang is located on both the highway and railroad linking Phnom Penh with Thailand. On arrival, we enjoy a walk around this colonial styled town and visit some outlaying hilltop temples as well as the infamous cave, which used as execution field under the Khmer Rouge rule. There are also some opportunities to take a drive along tiny winding tracks into some small villages (Ancient house), and enjoy the Bamboo Train where tourists hardly ever venture.

Day 11: Battambang - Phom Penh (B/-/-)

Battambang - Phnom Penh: 290km, ~6h drive

After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Phnom Penh, en route we will stop to visit one of the biggest Khmer Communities on the Tole Sap Lake of Kompong Luong Village, this remote tour will be provided on the local traditional boat. And then continue to Phnom Penh, on arrival we will take a rest and enjoy the swimming at your pool until late afternoon, visit to Central & Russian market.

Day 12: Phom Penh City (B/L/-)

After breakfast is at hotel, we enjoy Phnom Penh city tour starting with the Victory Monument, and the National Museum, also known as the Museum of Fine Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in 1917 in the Khmer style. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art, especially sculpture from all eras. Visit the Royal Palace of King Norodom built in 1866 on the grounds of the old city, and the Silver Pagoda. It is located in the royal palace, called the Silver Pagoda, because there is a floor of 5000 silver tiles. Other treasures, which you will see are a Buddha made of solid gold and weighing 90 kilograms and a small emerald Buddha from the 17th Century, and baccarat crystal Buddha. Lunch is at the hotel. Then visit the infamous Tuol Sleng museum. In 1975, the Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot's security forces and used as a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21) become. It soon became apparent as the largest such centre of detention and torture in the country.

Day 13: Phom Penh - Takeo - Kep (B/L/-)

Phnom Penh - Kep: 164km, ~4h drive

Breakfast is served at hotel. The journey southwards begins as we depart Phnom Penh and make our first stop at Phnom Chisor Temple dating back from the 11th century. A 500 step path leads up to the top of the hill from where we can enjoy fabulous views over the surrounding countryside. We get on our car to the quiet town of Takeo before taking a short cruise to Angkor Borei town, located just a few kilometer navigation from the Vietnam border. There is a small museum which displays several reproductions of sculptures from the nearby ruins and few artifacts dating as far back as the 4th century. After seeing this pleasant place, we continue our boat trip to visit a pre-Angkorian style temple of Phnom Da and a nearby temple of Asram Maharosei. The steep path over some big rocks makes Asram Maharosei different from other temples in Cambodia. Proceed to Kep city for overnight.

Day 14: Kep - National Park - Sihanouk Ville (B/-/-)

Kep - Sihanouk Ville: 125km, ~3h drive

After breakfast at hotel, we travel to Sihanouk Ville, en route stop take a boat to visit the Mangrove Forest at Ream National Park, one arrival you will free at on your own on the beaches. Sihanouk Ville are some of the most unspoiled in all of Southeast Asia although the fast growing of tourism. There are some 10 km of beach stretching the whole length of the town and dozens of small islands just a short boat ride away, which make for a perfect tropical getaway, with facilities for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving. This free day will provide you some great opportunities to soak up the sun and sea as much as you want by spending your time swimming or lazing on a beach.
