Siem Riep - Airport: 7km, 15min drive
Upon arrival at Siem Riep airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel for check-in. After making sure of your successful hotel check-in, they will be pleased to leave you free time for your own lunch and leisure to recover after the long flight.
In the afternoon, meet our guide again who will start with a brief of history and introduction of Siem Reap province and Angkor. We then visit to Angkor National Museum where you can see all the main artifacts from the pre-Angkor period up the post-Angkor period and especially a 30-minute meeting with our Khmer Archeologist from Khmer Royal University of fine and arts. We continue to a local pagoda for a very special blessing ceremony arranged by Buddhist monks to bring you the happiness, prosperities, peace of mind and pleasant trip.

In the morning after breakfast, we visit the most famous of all temples on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers glory on the Cambodian flag and a masterpiece of the 12th Century. Art historians describe him as a prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru, the five peaks the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding ditches the sea.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we visit the South Gate with its huge statues and the ancient capital of the 12th Century, Angkor Thom. We continue to see the Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara paid), the royal residence, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.
Optional: You can use bicycle to explore Angkor Wat & Angkor Thom instead of by car.

Morning after breakfast at hotel, we visit to the “Small Circuit” group of temples including: Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees. This is one of Jayavarman VII's first major temple projects dedicated to his mother, Thommanon built at the same time with Angkor Wat and Chau Say Tevoda temple, Banteay Kdei – surrounded by four concentric walls, Srah Srang – “The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing and Ta Keo known as “ The mountain with golden peaks” dedicated to Hindu God Shiva.
The afternoon is spent for visiting the “Grand Circuit” including: Pre Rup- a temple-mountain with beautiful bas reliefs and excellent views of the surrounding countryside, East Mebon- a large temple – mountain dedicated to Shiva in honor of the king’s parents, Tasom- the most distant temple of the Grand Circuit, Neak pean a small island temple originally dedicated to Buddha and the Preah Khan dedicated to Jayavarman VII's father.

After having breakfast at hotel, we start our trip by visiting Banteay Srei built at the time when Khmer Empire was gaining significant power and dedicated to Hindu God Shiva. It’s a masterpiece of Khmer Art with small size, sandstone construction and ornate design. We then back to visit Banteay Samre temple in the Angkor Wat style. Samre, the name refers to an ethnic group of mountain people; the region at the base of Phnom Kulen inhabited and is probably associated with the Khmer. None Inscriptions have been found for this temple, but the style of most of the architecture corresponds to the classical art of the middle period, as well as in Angkor Wat. The proportions of Banteay Samre are enormous. A unique feature is an interior moat with lateritic paving, which is filled with water to the temple an ethereal atmosphere.
Afternoon, we visit Roluos Group of temples built between 877-889, situated 13km from Siemreap. They were constructed when the ancient Khmers created their first settlement in the Angkor region. There are 3 temples: Bakong is the most impressive temple, much older than Angkor Wat with beautiful carvings on its lintels that are still in good shape. Preahko temple is close to the main temple Bakong and consists of 6 elegant brick towers with exquisite decoration and statues of Nandi, Shiva's sacred bull. Lolei temple constructed in 893, is an island temple dedicated to members of the royal family and the Hindu God Shiva.

Siem Riep - Battambang: 137km, ~3h drive
In the morning after breakfast, we carry out exploration of Tonle Sap lake - the largest natural lake in Indochina, cruising for 1 or 2 hours to visit its floating villages and discover the waterfront life. Disembark and drive back to Siem Reap through the peaceful countryside and quaint villages with lush rice fields and rows of palm. Visit the Artisans d’Angkor established in 1992 with the purpose of training young Cambodians in reestablishing the arts of their ancestral heritage and help increasing job opportunities. Drop by some workshops to know about the process of stone and wood carving. Then After that, we drive by overland to Battambang. Upon arrival, check in hotel.

After breakfast, we visit the traditional house at Phum Wat kor then drive along the Sanker river through the charming country side until Wat Ek Phnom temple (11th century). On the way back, visit Wat Slaket Pagoda, and Prahok market (prahok is the Cambodian fermented fish paste).
In the afternoon, experience a 2-hour sightseeing tour aboard a bamboo train, the old means of transportation. Enjoy the beautiful village landscapes, rice fields and then return to Battambang to visit the provincial museum and stroll through the town center with your guide and admire its colonial architecture and Chinese shop-houses and colorful temples.

After breakfast, we will drive back to Phnom Penh. Before arrival Phnom Penh, we have to pass 3 provinces such as Pusat, Kampong Chhnang and Kandal where we’ve arranged to have a short visit in each province. Arrival Pursat followed by a city orientation tour to see some interesting colonial architecture and a floating village. Upon arrival Kampong Chhnang, visit Pottery Village. Lastly, arrival Kandal Province, we visit the abandoned royal city of Oudong (early 17th century) and visit the temples and stupas that cover the hills. Then, we drive towards Phnom Penh. After breakfast at hotel, time is free until our driver meet and transfer you back to Phnom Penh passing through the spectacular rural landscape. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, we will take a half day for explore the heritage city with visiting the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. the Victory Monument, and the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures - throughout the ages.
