November is the start of the transfer season and also a favorite month to visit Vietnam. The North now receives dry and cooler weather which is an ideal time for mountaineering tourism. The Central remains warm with frequent rain and storms may occur. This is a good month to visit the South thanks for warm and dry weather.
Northern Vietnam
Dry and cool weather has replaced heat of summer giving the North the best conditions for tourism. The North remains average temperature of 24°C with very little rain here and there. You can expect dry weather with clear skies making mountainous areas such as Sapa and Ha Giang the most attractive destinations for those who love climbing and trekking.
Central Vietnam
Unlike the North, Central Vietnam receives heavy rainfall and even storms. Central beaches are unadvisable during this time. The temperature decreases a little bit with 23°C in Hue and 25°C in Danang and Hoian on average. Nha Trang towards the South still receives lots of rainfall. Fortunately in Dalat and Central Highlands, you can expect clear skies with very little rain and trekking as well as adventure activities are wonderful.
Southern Vietnam
Different from Northern and Central regions, the South is now greeting dry season to bring back its best weather with clear blue skies and humidity reduction and average temperature of 27°C. You can expect plenty of sunshine and clear skies on the beaches of Phu Quoc, Phan Thiet and Mui Ne.
