Hello Vy,

We are home and now have had time to reflect on our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia.

Firstly, We are tremendously grateful for all you help and assistance both before and during our trip. You are so quick to respond and offer such excellent service and it was lovely to have dinner with you on our first night in Hanoi. Therefore my comments below are not problems but to help you provide even better service to your clients in the future. We are happy to act as a reference to you with other prospective clients.

So here you go……

Hanoi. Our guide in Hanoi Mr Chien was our weakest of our guides and it felt like he wanted to get through the day as quickly as possible. We strongly recommend that sightseeing is done in the morning until early afternoon and then there is a gap for a few hours before the food tour. We loved the things we saw and did

Halong Bay. We loved Halong Bay and I would have been disappointed if we had chosen only one night on the boat

Hoi Ann. We loved it here and our guide Sau. We suggest that rather than go to Danang we would rather have spent the morning in Hoi Ann on the second day and not bothered going into Danang and driven straight to Hue.

Hue. We loved Hue and we should have taken your advice on hotel here as the Scarlett Boutique was not the standard of the other hotels we stayed in

Ho Chi Minh City was great and a day was long enough.

Mekong Delta. Loved our female guide also Sau here. We enjoyed our time, think more knowledge of tide times is needed as high tides stopped us doing certain things. Also the boat really needs a bit of the refurbishment

Siem Reap. Was great and loved the Shinta Mani Hotel and the team there. Should be pointed out that the temple tour days are half days and not full days as other activities could have been planned. Our driver in Siem Reap had a Tuk Tuk and gave us a tour at night of the city which we loved. Guide and Driver were great here too

Phonm Penn. Had a great time here and Sony our guide was amazing. We loved the speedboat to Chau Doc and would recommend as an alternative way to return to Vietnam

Phu Quoc. Our week at Green Bay Resort was so relaxing and we loved the hotel. Think you should let clients know that not all the hotel is working. They had very inexperienced staff at the hotel too.

Overall, It would be good if you had provided us in advance with contacts at each new destination rather than me having to ask for them, a small but important point.

But as I have said we have had an amazing trip and the pace overall suited us brilliantly and we cannot praise you enough for your help and support.

We will definitely be recommending you and your company to friends.

Thank you for your message. We are slowly getting back to normal after our trip to Vietnam!

We had an amazing time on our trip. We can honestly say there were no issues from start to finish. It was lovely to meet with you in your office and we felt reassured that we had chosen a great Company to travel with.

The guides you had arranged for us were very professional but friendly and welcoming at the same time. We learnt so much about everyday life in Vietnam from them as well as the area we were visiting.

The accommodation was all well presented and met our needs. We have no complaints regarding this. The only thing we would say, is it would have been nice to had milk provided in our rooms for the tea (us English do like milk in our tea!) but that is not a complaint, it just would have been a nice touch.

We really appreciate all your hard work in organising our trip and changing part of the itinerary to better suit us at the Mekong Delta was much appreciated.

We will not hesitate to recommend your Company to family and friends.

Hi Vy.

Let me start by apologising for the long delay in writing back to you since our departure from our Vietnam and Cambodia holiday. We had to initially do all the gifts we purchased and then start cleaning up the house. !! We have both started work and it feels so surreal to adapt back into reality.

Well with regards to the trip organised via Tonkin Voyage Travels and especially by yourself for my family and myself, it was just wonderful, We had no idea of the immense work and planning that  was so precisely and  well organised  in detail as per our request and time limitations, especially not to mention the many alterations that we made from time to time, and you handled them with professionalism and understanding.

Vy, you prepared us by providing us with all the required information regarding out travel, visas requirements, hotel bookings. keeping us updated as required. Your itinerary for our trip was very detailed and precise to our needs and when we needed changes to it, you had no problem or hesitation in obliging to our requests. You were with us on line right up to the very day we were flying into Vietnam. Most importantly, you took time away from other commitments,like your staff party, staying back late in your office to meet us upon arrival into Vietnam. These commitments and sacrifices were very commendable on your part, and very  much, and highly appreciated, assisting us to commence our trip in the right manner.

The tour guides that you and your company organised  for our trip, Mr. Chien ( north), Ms Dong (central) and Mr. Lam( south), and also in Cambodia ,were all  very professional, understanding, aware of our needs and most of all, helpful. They were not only professional, but very knowledgeable on the various places and explaining the very interesting and informative history that surrounds these places. They took into consideration our capabilities and assisted us at all times, and most importantly kept us informed on every aspect of the areas that we visited. We were able to talk to them freely , and they have now become our friends !!

The various hotel accommodation that you and your company organised as per our request in the various cities, were well located, with the appropriate facilities, and warm, friendly service staff  was really comforting and made us feel welcome especially after our touring in the area.

I was especially taken back how you with your busy schedule at work found the time to surprise me with a gift and cake on my birthday when we landed in Vietnam. This was something special, and had a very personal touch, THANK YOU for this wonderful gesture. It was very much appreciated!

Let me simply put it as a well organised trip for my family and I, from you Vy and your company, Tonkin VoageTravel.  I have no hesitation in recommending your company to all m friends and colleagues. I have in fact been talking to many about how much we really enjoyed our trip, and how well  organised our trip was by you and your company Tonkin Voyage Travel.

Hello Thao,

We made it home to US safely but a couple of delayed flights so we got home about midnight last night. 27 hours total travel time. But it was all worth it!

We had a fantastic time and learned soon much about Viet Nam. We loved it. And you did a fantastic job of setting everything up for us and all of your guides and drivers were really great. I never comment on Trip Advisor bit this week when I have time I plan to give your company a great review. Thank you again. We will tell all of our friends who may want to go to Viet Nam to contact you.

Just to let you know that I arrived safely at HCM airport and as usual the driver was at the hotel ahead of time.

All in all the trip has gone very well indeed. Thank you for your excellent job setting everything up and making sure it all went according to plan. Your organisation, quick communication, making any changes that were required, the guides, drivers and cars were all excellent. I enjoyed the imformative discussions I had with all the interesting guides.
Without all that I’m sure I would have spent half my trip organizing and working out the next move but you really did make this an easy, seamless trip for me. It has been great dealing with you and I had great confidence that should I have had any problems you would have resolved them quickly.

Hard to pick out one highlight as really for a snapshot of Vietnam everyday had highlights.
As I’ve done so much it seems so long ago when I was meeting you in Hanoi !
