Yes home safe & sound.

Thanks for organising our itinerary for our Laos trip.  Couldn’t have asked for a more varied tour for historical sites and the day to day lives of the Laos people, which we really like to see . Our guides Mr Souband & Driver in the south were excellent, as was SaVai and driver in the north and our Guide & driver in Vientiane.    Their attention to our interests, always there to greet us,helped us to be reassured we were in good hands.

Great choices for our accommodation, all rooms had all the facilities we needed and more,, loved La Folie Lodge being able to view from our room the morning activities on the river. Salana Boutique Hotel could just step out and be in the sites of Vientiane and the staff were so friendly.

Tours enjoyed each day was a different experience.   Waterfalls, seeing the locals picnicking and swimming, the beauty of Kuang Si Waterfall.

Markets seeing all the variety of food stuffs available,  walking through the villages meeting with villages and expericing their daily lives.   The relaxing day motoring down the Mekong River. The astonishing road condition to Xieng Khuang, where we cheered our driver on his manoeuvres around the craters in road.  On our bucket list, Plain of Jars was amazing.

Dear Vy,

Thank you and yes we arrived home safely on Monday morning after almost 24hrs travelling !

Our three week holiday was just the most wonderful experience, we enjoyed every single aspect and commend you on your wonderful organisation skills for our trip. From when we arrived in HaNoi to be met by a driver and transported to the lovely comfortable The Chi Boutique Hotel was really nice after a long flight.  We also really enjoyed our first Vietnamese complementary dinner that evening, thank you for that. Our guides were all wonderful. Mr Duane in Hà Nội, Mr Huy in Hue, Mr Túng in HCMC, and especially Mr Hai on the Sampan who went out of his way to show us the local  farmers. We enjoyed all the tours in each of the cities Hà Nội Hue, HoiAn and HCMC and of course the two boat trips to Halong Bay and the sampan in the Mekong Delta. We felt we were  looked after very well at all times. Your choice of hotels was excellent and all were very comfortable. I must mention our motorbike food/city tour in Saigon with Saigonbiketours who were wonderful.

So thank you again for the excellent service, and we will definitely recommend Tonkin Voyage Travel to our friends.

We are in Ko Samui now as our holiday continues!

Honestly, we had an absolutely wonderful time in both Vietnam and Cambodia and have you to thank! Everything was arranged perfectly and we can’t stop talking about our tour!

As soon as we arrived in Ho Chi Minh City our driver was waiting for us and off we went! We were all impressed with the quality of the hotels you chose for us. And the breakfasts that were included were excellent.  All our drivers were prompt and courteous. And our guides were simply incredible! They greeted us upon arrival and were always polite and extremely knowledgeable. We  learned so much from all our guides in each location. You did an absolutely fantastic job in planning each day- thank you so very much.

Your dedication played a major role in making this trip such a success. Your exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, professionalism, and deep expertise all came together seamlessly to create a smooth and enjoyable experience for us.

I especially want to commend the outstanding personnel you selected to accompany us throughout the journey, the first-class accommodations, and the overall organization that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the sights and activities without a single worry.

I do have one small suggestion. Given that your company undoubtedly has contingency plans for handling last-minute issues with cars, hotels, or guides to minimize disruptions, I believe customers would appreciate the same level of assurance when it comes to flights.

I understand that flexible flight bookings come at a higher cost, but perhaps you could offer two options—similar to the way you differentiate hotel categories (4-star vs. 5-star). A clear disclaimer about the potential risks of non-flexible flights, along with the option for a more premium, flexible alternative, would give travelers greater peace of mind and choice.

Once again, thank you for everything. We truly appreciate the effort and care that went into making this an extraordinary journey.
